Jim Hjelm Trunkshow this Weekend!

We are officially booked up this weekend for an amazing viewing of the "Best of" and runway gowns for the Fall 2011 Jim Hjelm Trunkshow. Limited spots are available on Friday and possibly spill over appts before and after hours on Sat.

This huge turnout is no surprise given the amount of media and press attention that this collection has received. Within this great showing are amazing gowns ranging from glam trumpet styles, to textured ball gowns....this season really has it all!

Jim Hjelm is known for his whimsy and romance, and the remarkable silhouettes are just one more reason that this designer is swoon worthy in my book.

STUNNING!!!! Totally gorgeous!

I love the overall look that Molly Sims chose for her wedding. The balance of the formal hair and trimmed veil paired with the ease of the slim lace and organza gown, create a bridal style that is elegant and lovely.

The lace Marchesa gown is beautiful with an illusion neckline and flutter cap sleeves.

The ballerina bun surrounded with a braid and adorned with a jeweled brooch is the PERFECT choice to create a clean look, and keep the attention on her gorgeous mug. I love the lace trimmed veil placement under the 'do.

Can we talk about these adorable bridesmaids?? They each wore different floor length Elizabeth Kennedy designs in neutral shades. They don't match..but they certainly "go."

These WTOO, Watters and Paloma Blanca gowns give a similar style and shape as the Marchesa. Sheer sleeves and variances of lace to silk fabrics allow for a soft silhouette and romantic feel.

This is another take on a neutral palette..... ranging from soft stone to creamy beige with black belt accent...and if you are going to mix fabrics, colors and styles, go ahead and give a length variance....rules schmules!! Watters bridesmaids give a huge range of styles to select from.

Gotta admit, this celebrity wedding style will go down as one of my favorites. There just appears to be this overall happy vibe, and heart warming personal touches throughout the photos. Cheers!

Molly Sims Marries!!

The host of Project Accessory, Molly Sims, gets married over the weekend in the Napa wine country. According to E!online, Sims wore a Marchesa gown, and jewelry by Lorraine Schwartz. Pictures are still not released, and although this former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model would stunning in just about anything, I would love to suggest a couple of designs that I would love to see this beauty wear down the aisle.

Given the intimate setting of a small guest list in the Napa Valley wine country, these lighter and slimmer gowns would be totally appropriate, and super-duper flattering.

Watters San Francisco is such a similar silhouette to this gown worn recently by Molly, this would fit right into her boho-chic style.

Lazaro LZ3169 fit and flare organza gown would be amazing on this supermodel for so many reasons...the fitted nature, yet ease of the shape would show off her great frame without adding too much structure to take away from the softness of her style, and the organic feel of the overlay and the textural petals would almost float down the aisle in the wine country.

In celebration of the highly anticipated release of The Bridesmaids movie to DVD, I wanted to take this Friday and give thanks to all of the special ladies out there that make up the beautiful bridal parties that we love to celebrate. You are fantastic, fabulous, and adored!

Emmy Awards Gown Review

I would love to see the huge rise in downloads of Chris DeBurgh's '96 hit, "Lady in Red" after last night's chrimson tide hit the red carpet. Good gracious, there were a ton of red gowns out there!

My fav of team RED? Nina Gobrev in Donna Karan. The fit is immaculate, and the hem is modern, but doesn't take away from the overall fluid line of the gown. I love the variation on a traditional sweetheart neckline. Very Lazaro esk.

Kelly Osborne in J Mendel is the gown that I would most love to see in ivory and on a bride. I adore the straps, and the proportion of the mermaid silhouette. Pretty fantastic. Great tip for brides: create straps like these with a seamstress to a similar shaped gown and get a custom look!

Sarah Hyland wins for best use of an accessory. This belt is such a great addition to the one shoulder salmon, pleated chiffon gown. Bridal belts still melt my heart.

Heidi Klum was adorable in her sassy short number by former Project Runway winner, Christian Siriano. Love bouncy, textured hems?? We do too!

Cat Deeley could trade her clutch for a bouquet and be a beautiful bride in this Monique Lhuillier strapless. Overlays are really big this season in bridal as well. Lazaro has an amazing option in the Spring 2012 line.

The Emmys host Jane Lynch looks regal in her David Meister jeweled toned strapless. Hmmm.... look familiar Amsale girls?

Drumroll please....My overall favorite of the night?? Glee's Heather Morris in this amazing purple plunging neckline gown with fantastic ruffles cascading down the skirt stands out amongst the crowd and commands attention. (the good kind of attention) IN LOVE!

Wanna take these runway styles off the red carpet and to the chapel?? Will do. See if you can match up the inspirations....fun Monday game. ;)

I am beyond excited to have the privilege of being the first to share these amazing photos of the Liz Fields Spring 2012 bridal and bridesmaids ad shots!! Style 450031 is simply stunning! The fabrication on the hem of the skirt is unique and lovely to say the very least. This movement of this gown oozes romance....Perfection!

Style 450029 is one of the prettiest empire waisted gowns I have seen. The draping is so flattering and the floral detail at the bust is soft and delicate. SPECTACULAR!!
