Oscars---Red Carpet Recap

What a fun night for fashion!! The looks were totally glam, uber sparkly, and I simply could not get enough. There were some key trends that are totally translatable to bridal, and here are couple of my favorites:
Can we talk about the backwards draped necklaces?!? LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! This look would be gorgeous on a bride that chooses a small hair piece rather than a veil. Adding visual interest to the back of a dress does not get much more simple or chic.

THIS hair. Gorgeous!! So many brides are opting for a down 'do this season, and I cannot imagine a more glamourous and feminine style than this for the big day. Wondering what kind of veil would pair with this look??? A retro inspired birdcage.

Now, let's get down to the dresses. While not everybody blew me away, these lovely ladies hit it out of the park in my humble opinion. Add a veil and a bouquet, and these beauties are total brides....and nothing could make this bridal stylist happier.
I have taken each style from the red carpet to the ceremony aisle..enjoy!
WTOO Bridal's style, "Dove"  shares the same flattering dropped waist bodice and layered full skirt.

No need to find a similar bridal gown to go with Ashlan's dress. This IS Lazaro style, LZ3202. Couldn't be happier that our beloved Lazaro was represented at the Oscars Vanity Fair Party!

Jennifer Lawrence's ivory trumpet dress is total glam and soooo Jim Hjelm.

The second I laid eyes on Zoe's dress, "Pamela" from Pronovias popped in my head. The dimension of the textured floral detail on the bodice is such a great way to bring attention to a pretty face!  This lovely number is a part of our sample sale ladies!!
