Top Fall Wedding Gown Trend...OTT

Another Fall top trend from Colin Cowie: OTT. (Over-the-top)

This trend is for the girl that wants all the attention....and why shouldn't she?! This is her day after all. Designers have certainly stepped out of the minimalists' box for a bit, and have brought drama back into  their collections. Whether it is color, pattern, bling or beadwork, there seems to never be enough, and that is a beautiful thing!!

One of my overall picks from the runway this season, just so happens to be included in the mix, is Lazaro style #LZ3269. This dress embodies everything that Lazaro is known for with an added twist of whimsy. Love. Love. Love. If this collaboration of color at the hemline of the circular skirt is too much...know that it can be tamed and ordered in ivory. ;)

Alright all of my boho bombshell brides out there...you have begged for it, and I promised to deliver....Sarah Seven is coming to Serendipity Bridal this weekend!!!

Her collection is a press phenomenon and a fashionista's dream come true. We are beyond lucky to have her here this weekend to debut the collection.

Yes, the designer herself, Sarah Seven, will be at the salon assisting our fab brides to be with the selection of one of her hand crafted pieces. Does not get much better than this, ladies.

Top Wedding Gown Trends For Fall...TULLE

The always trendy Colin Cowie has debuted his top trends for Fall 2012 in the world of bridal, and I wanted to pass each of them along. I will be pairing a gown that utilizes each trend in true Serendipity Style. Enjoy! 

My first and quite possibly favorite trend has to be tulle. For me, this textured fabric is not a trend at all, but more of a staple for any blissful bride. WTOO nails it with their one shouldered style, "Bria," from their Fall 2012 collection.

What is better than the best??? The BEST of the best, and when it comes to this designer, the best is unbelievable!!

The best of Lazaro trunk show is here this weekend, and we are tickled pink, or in this case sherbet!!  

With extreme style and attention to uber detail, this powerhouse designer has a cult following and is a celebrity and press favorite. Check out all of the Pinterest boards devoted specifically to this creative collection.

Pronovias Bride!

We are still in our honeymoon haze with newcomer to the salon, Pronovias; and we could not be anymore in love! The overall style of this powerhouse designer is a breath of fresh air, complete with feathers, tulle, sparkle and lace.

I received this photo from a beautiful bride that I styled not long ago, and I could not be anymore pleased with how her look came together. "Barbate" from the 2012 Glamour collection could not have been a more flattering fit for this tiny beauty. The feathers were such an unexpected addition to the tonal gown, and the criss cross effect at the join line showed off her little waist beautifully!

Congrats to this gorgeous and happy couple!!

Alita Graham for Kleinfeld Trunk Show

Don't put out the spark on your sparklers yet...there is reason to celebrate through the weekend!

We are hosting a trunk show for Alita Graham Bridal Friday and Saturday...so essentially, we are bringing a huge chunk of Kleinfeld New York to Central Texas. One of only four bridal boutiques to  be selected to carry this fabulous collection, we have seen brides come from far and wide to get a viewing of "that gown from Say Yes to The Dress." The truth is, that there have been too many gowns from this uber fantastic line that have made a national tv appearance to list, but in my humble opinion: they all deserve the spotlight!! Fall 2012 Campaigns

I love, love, love when the campaigns for our favorite bridal lines are in full swing, and this has to be one of my favs.

I have already raved on and on about the Watters Fall 2012 collection, so it is no surprise that these press shots have me giddy.

"Odette" was definitely a stand out for me. The boho-chic vibe is right on trend, and the unexpected embroidery handkerchief trim sets it apart. I paired it with one of the most popular colors of the season: purple...all shades in fact...from violet to plum, I predict that this pleasant pop of color is the new charcoal of seasons past. The layers of chiffon compliment each other perfectly, and with so many styles that Watters and WTOO allows you to choose from, it makes the mix-n-match trend a cinch!
