NY Market Recap: WTOO Bridal Spring 2014

It's hard to believe that Market has already come and gone!! I could hardly wait to share our some of our amazing designer's new collection.

First up: WTOO Bridal

As this was our first stop in NY, we were beyond excited to see what this innovative bridal design  house had to offer--and we were THRILLED we what we saw to say the least! Once again, these dresses were right on trend, and a budgeting bride's best friend. The consistent style with this collection is, well, pretty. That might seem a bit on the safe side, and go without saying that bridal gowns should be pretty....but WTOO takes pretty to a whole new level. More flattering silhouettes, softer necklines and effortless fabrics make this group of gowns appealing on all levels!

Jim Hjelm Spring 2014 and Hayley Paige Fall 2013 Trunk Show

Straight from the runways in NY to the Serendipity Bridal salon floor in Austin......Jim Hjelm Blush Spring 2014 Collection!! As if that wasn't great enough, the uber successful Hayley Paige Fall 2013 Collection will in accompaniment. Brilliant!

The Fall 2013 Collection from Hayley Paige needs no introduction. The group of gowns were an instant hit with the press and continue to create a buzz among fashionable brides. The signature beaded boleros, and printed fabrics have sent this young designer into stardom, and we could not be happier to have them in the salon!

Jim Hjelm Blush Spring 2014 is beyond fabulous! The flirty and effortless dresses are everything that we have known from Blush gowns in the past, but the addition of fashion forward details left us in complete awe, and we fell in love. I know that you will too!!

These gowns will be in the salon October 18th thru the 20th. Take advantage of our extended weekend hours and view these amazing collections!!

SERENDIPITY HAS NEW STORE HOURS!!!!

To better serve our customers, beginning Monday, October 7, Serendipity Bridal will have new hours, including staying open until 8 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays, and opening from noon to 6:00 p.m. on Sundays.  

New Hours:

Monday: 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Tuesday: Closed

Wednesday: Closed

Thursday: 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Friday: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Saturday:  10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Sunday:  Noon - 6 p.m.

Our staff feels as though this will help open up some shopping time for busy brides!! See you at the salon soon!! 

Marisa Bridal Trunk Show

We are so excited to showcase these Fall 2013 trunk show gowns from Marisa at Serendipity Bridal this weekend!! These gowns are a lace lover's dream come true. This New York based bridal house keeps their online and magazine advertising at bay to extend affordable priced gowns to the market, and concentrate on putting their efforts into flawless designs. Emmy Awards: Red Carpet to Bridal Aisle

I love a good fashion moment, and nothing delivers like the red carpet!!

Have to say, I was a bit underwhelmed by the looks overall, and there were some consistencies of style throughout the night which makes me wonder...... are strapless gown necklines on the straightened arrow??.....has the sweetheart seen its day?? Please, say it ain't so.....


I gathered some pics of my favorite looks and found their "bridal sister gown."

Marisa is known for this sexy neckline and fitted silhouette! 

WTOO pulled out a winner for brides that are looking for a sheer lace neckline and curve hugging sheath fit. 

Lazaro executes a high neckline with ease while adding a flirty touch to the fitted skirt. 

WTOO glams it up with this cap sleeve beauty. 

WTOO drapes this gown like no other. By keeping a slightly snug fit at the hips, the gathered fabric adds dimension and not bulk.

Nobody does fitted texture like Lazaro. 

Paloma Blanca creates a classy version of exposed an exposed boning lace bodice.

Jim Hjelm Blush perfected the boho chic, draped lace skirt, while having a tailored top for a flattering fit. 

Mid-season Watters and WTOO Bridal Trunk Show

What a treat!!
We have scheduled a mid-season trunk show with one of our favorite designers, Watters & WTOO Bridal .

Who is this show for?? Well, first of all, any bride that is looking for a fab dress with a discount; but the brides who can benefit the most from this opportunity are those that are getting married at the beginning of 2014 . The complete Fall 2013 collections may not be sampled in salons in time for special orders, and this may be the last opportunity to see the full collection of styles before the store selections are complete.  As always, appointments are limited, so schedule your time with our seasoned stylists quickly.

Seasonal Bridal Sample Sale!!!

IT'S BAAAACKK!!!

Grab your bridesmaids and hold onto your veils, ladies-----THE seasonal bridal sample sale kicked off Friday the 6th and goes thru the 14th!!!

Fabulous designer bridal gowns and bridesmaids dresses are being sold directly off the showroom floor at great discounts to make room for the upcoming season's styles. Bridal gown samples ranging from couture size 8 thru 14 in various sizes will be offered, as well as numerous bridesmaids dresses.

The weekends will be devoted to these appointments, and our seasoned staff will be catering and styling each bride from head to toe. This is a perfect opportunity for a bride that doesn't have the allotted 6 month turn around time to prepare for a wedding, a special opportunity to buy a designer gown for a reception dress, or simply a savvy bride that wants a couture creation on a budget!!! Any way you slice it, this sale is beyond sweet!!
