Watters Gown Makes the Cover of Brides Magazine!!

I am love, love, loving that one of our favorite gowns from Watters' Spring 2013 collection,"Consuela" is gracing the cover of one of the most recognized magazines in the wedding industry!!

Brides Magazine acknowledges that this crochet lace beauty is spot on with the upcoming trends. This gown fulfills the desire of the fashionable bride to be couture and classic. The endearing pattern of the dimensional lace is seamlessly placed on a flattering a-line silhouette with a full tulle skirt. The scalloped edge falls into the skirt creating a modern twist to a classic hem. This unique camellia lace is a fabric that is adored by fashion houses such as Chanel, so it is no wonder that it translates beautifully into bridal.

Watters took a step further and completed the spectrum of styles for the rehearsal dinner, or getaway gown by using the same lovely camellia lace in their beyond adorable "Tikka"dress within the Encore collection. Doesn't get much cuter than that!!

Crushing on Crochet

Think that lace is too formal for you? Think again...the newest look of lace this season has a more casual and light look with the loveliness of crochet. But I assure you ladies- this is not your grannie's handy work. The softness and elasticity of this fabric makes for a smooth and sultry silhouette, while allowing plenty of movement. The depth and dimension of these patterns create remarkable photos and a great palette for styling.

Here are a few of my favorites:
