New Jim Hjelm Gown!

Fall 2011 gowns are trickling in, and this one is certainly note worthy! Jim Hjelm style 8153 is here! This silk satin faced organza trumpet gown has an unbelievable fit, and incredible style. The draped bodice is constructed to perfection, and the fitted, sleek skirt is show stopping! At the natural waist, a wide ribbon and flirty horse hair bow with crystal detail is placed and screams uber-chic. The fun touch of whimsy gives a great opportunity to incorporate an individual style and amazing accessories.

A retro, birdcage veil would be lovely matched with this gown, as well as a simple flower or jeweled comb placed at the base of a soft swept side chignon. The back of the gown sits low which allows a great frame for a hair down style, which can be topped off with a crystal headband. A whimsical russian tulle headpiece would play up the fashion factor. I adore this chiffon one shouldered style 363. It is a beautiful and tailored gown with a feminine style like no other, and is available in an assortment of flattering colors.

Liz Fields certainly did not sacrifice construction or fit within these cute pieces either. Style 357 in satin has an "Audrey" vintage feel and a fit that says "va-va-voom." Another one of my many favorites.

Another unexpected and fantastic style that Liz has added to her line is adding the option of prints! What a breath of fresh air!! It's a whimsical detail for that perfect wedding that is all about enjoying the moment. Style 255 is a classic silhouette with a fashion forward, pretty print constructed in yummy charmeuse and a forgiving A-line skirt.

These gowns are more than just bridesmaids dresses...there are several sophisticated little numbers that would be perfectly suited for a chic and stylish mother of the bride, as well as fun and flirty pieces that would dazzle at a rehearsal dinner or night out. Princess Charlene and Georgio Armani created a wonderful off the shoulder gown with a fitted bodice and A-Line skirt. Subtle and unique embroidery cascades down the bodice to the skirt and hemline of the train.

Her hair is a great compliment to the style, and the crystal headpiece placed at the side base of the 'do is a definite "do". Tailored and timeless. Love it.

Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco's Wedding

Um, I surely wouldn't want to follow Grace Kelly in the line up of Princesses of Monaco, but I have to say that Charlene Wittstock is a beauty in her own right.

The couple was married in a civil ceremony at the Palace which will be followed by a religious service tomorrow including an evening of fireworks. People.com reports that the Princess will be wearing a custom Georgio Armani gown on Saturday, and in true Royalty fashion, the design is super hush hush.

Here are some of my playful predictions:

What I would like to see on this beauty is a tailored, and sleek shape that does not mimic Grace Kelly's or Kate Middleton's look. I am sure that lace will be incorporated somewhere, but I hope that she keeps it to on the bodice and veil...not sleeves.

It is no secret that Romona Keveza's Fall 2011 Legends collection has been inspired by the royal ceremonies,

but her subtle individualist twists make them remarkable.

L242 is an off the shoulder silk satin fluted shaped skirt that screams elegance, and the body skimming shape would do wonders for the former Olympic swimmer.

L248 is a romantic gown made of Point d'Esprit lace (dotted), deminsional hand crafted flowers and a cap sleeve bolero adorned in the same lace and flower design.

Nothing would thrill me more than to see her go out of the box, and choose a design similar to these Lazaro gowns. She has the height and the beauty for fabulous layers and textured skirts. Now, does she have the confidence to pull them off....we shall see! ;)

Kate Moss Marries!! Check out her Gown!!

Kate Moss wore John Galliano today as she weds Kills British rocker, Jaime Hince, according to the Washington Post.

The gown was custom made for Moss by her longtime designer friend, and I think she looks beautiful. Very boho chic!! Not many people can pull off this look, but she does it quite well. I love the fact that her hair is down and that she is sporting minimal makeup. The dress is enough of a statement on its own. The bride doesn't look like one of her modeling ad shots..she looks like herself.

The bridal party is adorable in their off white prairie-esk looks, and the hair garland ads another element of the organic, natural and easy feel. Wonderful!

This Jim Hjelm Blush gown, style 1006, is an amazing silhouette, constructed in a trumpet shape with cotton lace over a charmeuse lining. Paired with an amazing chunky necklace, this gown would be unique and fantastic!!

Lazaro's style 3615 has a glam factor, but with the sheath shape and beaded overlay, it can be styled with Kate's unfussy look and create the more easy vibe. Rock and Roll meets hippy. Love it.

Amazing Day at Kendra Scott Boutique!!

The ladies at Kendra Scott are unbelievable!! We were lucky enough to gain entry into the coveted "vault" at the Kendra Scott boutique this morning and select a collection of jewelry designs for the Liz Fields fashion show that are beyond belief! The assortment of colors, shapes and silhouettes are swoon worthy to say the least. Strong turquoise, coral, blush pink, and jade pieces are just the tip of the iceberg of what will accompany the spectacular gowns on the runway at Liz Field's Military Ball on July 23rd and appear on CMT Television in late Fall.

This day was a dream come true for me, and I wanted to spread a little piece of my joy with our fabulous brides....KENDRA SCOTT JEWELRY IS COMING TO SERENDIPITY!!! Yup, we are bringing these amazing pieces into the salon very soon. More details to come!
